Tenby Golf Club “Tenby
Golf Club, over 130 years in the making.”Tenby is a challenging
traditional links, recently voted 10th in best value golf courses in
the UK by Golf Monthly Magazine. Situated close to the centre of
Pembrokeshire’s famous medieval walled town, the course runs alongside
Tenby South Beach. Whilst this makes for spectacular views over
Carmarthen Bay and across the sound to the nearby Monastic Island of
Caldey, it also means the course is exposed to the elements. Tenby's
tight fairways, fast running greens and thick rough coupled with the
prevailing westerly winds provide an endlessley varied challenge.
Tenby Golf Course still hosts regular Welsh
Amateur and Professional Championships such as the Golden Eagle, The
2006 Welsh PGA Championships, 2008 Senior Home Internationals and 2010
Welsh Amateur Championship. Ranked in the Golf Monthly top 100 UK
courses, Tenby is playable at all times of the year thanks to superb
natural drainage. Tenby is famous for its greens said to be among the
finest and truest in the country. The difficult early holes are often
played into the prevailing south westerlies, and the return home is
dominated by the high presence of Black Rock, the top of which provides
a spectacular finish for the Championship Course. As well as an
unrivalled golfing experience, Tenby offers a friendly
atmosphere, excellent home cooked food, a snooker room and our resident
PGA professional with a well stocked shop and Teaching Academy.

constructed in 1992 and at nearly 6,700 yds the golf course was
designed to test the golfer in you. The course is long, and if you want
to score you must think on every tee, play every iron and never pull up
on a wedge

is a 9 hole seaside links course with spectacular panoramic views over
St. David's Head and Whitesands Bay, which is renowned as one of the
best beaches in Pembrokeshire, The course is dry and playable all year
with fast greens to test the best. This is one of the most beautiful
courses in the area and the course is in superb condition all year
round thanks to the dune grass that never grows. St David's City is in
fact really a village but was granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II
because of the presence of the Cathedral of St Davids. It is a
favourite location of artists, pilgrims, and travellers who flock to
see some of the finest coastline in the whole of Europe. It is worth a
visit for a holiday even if not a golf holiday.
The Newport Links Golf Club,
in the north of Pembrokeshire, overlooks Newport Bay and
is located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The area has a
very mild climate and this makes the area popular for winter golf

Newport Sands, Recently taken over by new management the
clubhouse has undergone extensive renovation work. The course has
panoramic views over Newport Bay. The Club has its own bar and catering
facilities and is open to non members
"Dawn Till Dusk" Rosemarket Golf
Course is now in its twelth year. It was
evolved by the Young family at Furze Hill Farm, on the northern
outstkirts of Rosemarket. The course is set in the heart of the
beautiful scenic Pembrokeshire countryside. We
have built our reputation on the friendly atmosphere of the club and
its members, who are always happy to welcome golfers of all abilities
and age. We do not have a formal dress code (within reason) just
comfortable casual wear. All that we ask is that if you do not have
golf shoes that you respect our greens by wearing soft soles or
trainers. An added attraction is the integral grass airstrip,
which welcomes visitors from all over the country. So if you have your
own light aircraft and fancy a good day out, why not 'drop' in and see
us. Although the
course is "Pay and Play", there is a strong ever growing membership.
The club is affilliated to and has strong involvement with both the
Welsh Golfing Union and Dyfed Golfing Union, which opens up
opportunities for the more competitive player who as a club member
could find themselves with a pretty full fixture list.
